Bridal Shower: Sarah

Here are some pictures from the bridal shower held in honor of Sarah, who will be a happily married lady in just over a month!  The elegant color scheme chosen for the big day involves white and crystal blue.  It is sure to be a gorgeous and happy day!

Some people should never have to wander around aimlessly at a shower hoping to find a seat.  Particularly the guest of honor!

While this is certainly the bride's moment to shine, there are two other ladies who deserve a special seat as well ...

A simple card basket provides guests who are giving a monetary gift with a place to leave their present without worry that it will be lost in piles of wrapping paper!

  Everyone dresses up for showers and weddings.  Who says something as practical as silverware can't be dressed up a bit too?  

The bride and groom have chosen a wedding date of November 12, 2011.

Baby Shower: Tara

Well we had the baby shower for Tara and much fun was had by all!  Check out some of the pictures below!

A cupcake with four blue onsies for the cute little boy on his way and a pacifier as a "cherry on top!"

This is the Mommy-to-be's throne for the day, where she could sit and easily be greeted by her guests and open all of her gifts where everyone could see.  

 Practical things like silverware should be pretty too!

 Lastly here is the Wish Bowl for the Parents-to-be and the baby-on-the-way.  Instead of signing a traditional guest book friends and family wrote messages of welcome, advice or "wishes" for the family.  This personal version of a guest book makes for some very special mementos.  

It was a beautiful day filled with much joy and anticipation as Baby {B}'s due date rapidly approaches.  Congratulations to the mommy-, daddy-, and grandparents-to-be!
